Working Principle
Three-phase variable frequency current from Rexroth compact servo drive excites stator windings to generate rotating magnetic field, driving low-inertia permanent magnet rotor to output precise torque and speed. Composite feedback system collects rotor position signal via resolver for high-speed real-time speed loop control; multi-turn absolute encoder stores full rotation position data to avoid re-homing after power loss. 24VDC holding brake relies on spring friction disc locking rotor when power supply cuts off, electromagnetic coil releases brake when energized to allow free rotation. Winding temperature sensor transmits thermal signal to drive, automatically limiting output torque when temperature exceeds safety threshold to prevent winding burnout.
Material & Structural Characteristics
- Motor Housing: Thin-wall die-cast aluminum alloy with black anti-corrosion coating, compact heat dissipation rib structure
- Rotor: Small-diameter solid steel shaft + mini neodymium iron boron permanent magnet, ultra-low inertia design
- Bearing Set: Miniature high-speed precision rolling bearings with long-life high-temperature grease

Installation Requirements
- 82mm standard four-hole flange mounting, fixing bolt torque 8 Nm
- Shaft coupling coaxiality error ≤0.02 mm to reduce high-speed bearing vibration
- Horizontal or vertical installation allowed; vertical axis must enable brake function
- Use original Rexroth miniature shielded servo power and encoder cables
- Reserve ≥20 mm heat dissipation gap around motor housing, avoid enclosed narrow installation cavity
- Cabinet earth bar ground wire connected to motor mounting plate for EMC anti-interference
Application Scenarios
- Electronic assembly machine small Z-axis lifting positioning
- High-speed labeling machine horizontal reciprocating feed axis
- Desktop small CNC engraving machine auxiliary feed servo
- Automated testing equipment probe precise positioning axis
- Small packaging machine cutter and film stretching servo axes
- Semiconductor wafer transfer small high-speed handling axes
Operation & Maintenance Notes
- Do not operate motor without brake power supply when installed on vertical load axes
- Avoid continuous long-time operation at 6000 rpm maximum speed to extend bearing service life
- Clean motor housing dust and oil mist every 3 months to maintain heat dissipation
- Do not disassemble rear encoder end cap without professional tools, absolute position data will be lost
- Regularly check connector sealing ring aging condition to prevent moisture entering internal circuit
- If abnormal vibration occurs during operation, recheck shaft coupling coaxiality and mounting bolt tightness
