Working Principle

Three-phase AC industrial input power rectified to stable DC bus voltage, IGBT inverter circuit converts DC power to variable frequency three-phase AC to drive permanent magnet synchronous servo motor. EnDat absolute encoder continuously transmits multi-turn rotor absolute position feedback signal to drive control core chip, triple closed-loop control algorithm dynamically adjusts output torque, velocity and position according to Profibus-DP motion commands. Embedded FW firmware executes internal motion sequence programs independently without external auxiliary control hardware.

Advantage Highlights

  • Medium power compact design balances cabinet space saving and medium load driving capacity
  • Native EnDat absolute encoder interface removes mandatory homing operation after power cycle
  • Built-in Profibus-DP firmware omits external communication adapter hardware cost
  • High closed-loop bandwidth achieves high-precision fast positioning motion performance
  • Comprehensive full hardware fault protection system prevents permanent drive and motor damage

Applicable Industries

Electronic component assembly machinery, food packaging automation, small CNC routing equipment, textile weaving machinery, light-duty gantry robotic handling systems

Installation Requirements

  1. Mount drive vertically with rear heat sink fins facing downward for natural convection cooling
  2. Maintain minimum 10 cm vertical ventilation gap between adjacent servo drive units
  3. Use EMC-compliant shielded motor power cable and fully shielded EnDat encoder cable with 360° gland grounding
  4. Connect drive protective earth terminal to cabinet low-impedance protective earth copper bar

Operation Precautions

  1. Ambient temperature exceeding +45 °C requires forced air cooling for continuous full-load operation
  2. Complete servo motor parameter auto-identification before initial equipment commissioning
  3. Maintain 10-minute power-off waiting period before disassembling wiring to discharge residual DC bus capacitor voltage
  4. Limit peak overload continuous operation duration strictly within 30 seconds to avoid thermal power module degradation
  5. Only official Rexroth dedicated engineering software permitted for FW firmware modification and parameter backup
