- Update Rate: 1 MS/s per channel
- Output Range: -10 V to +10 V
- Onboard FIFO: 16,384 samples
- Digital I/O: 8 lines, 5 V TTL/CMOS
- Counter/Timers: 2 × 24-bit at 20 MHz
- Output Current Drive: 5 mA
- Operating Temperature: 0 °C to 50 °C
Functional Features
- Simultaneous multichannel analog output
- Large FIFO for continuous waveform generation
- External reference support
- Digital triggering and external clocking
- Two 24-bit counters for timing
- NI-DAQmx, LabVIEW, C, Python, and .NET support
Working Principle
Host-generated waveform data is buffered in onboard memory and converted by dedicated DACs. A 20 MHz timebase and trigger logic control update timing, allowing synchronized analog output with digital and counter functions.
Application Scenarios
- Stimulus-response testing
- Power supply control
- Sensor simulation
- Arbitrary waveform generation
- Real-time control systems
- Automated test equipment
Installation Requirements
- Install in PXI or CompactPCI chassis with hybrid slot support
- Use shielded analog output cables
- Install NI-DAQmx
- Configure output range before applying signals
- Ensure load impedance is compatible
Usage Notes
- Do not short analog output channels
- Maximum output current is limited to 5 mA
- Avoid capacitive or inductive loads that cause instability
- Use external reference only with approved voltage source
- Prevent electrostatic discharge during handling
