Working Principle: The embedded CPU runs B&R Automation Runtime or Windows CE, renders HMI screens on the TFT, scans the resistive touch layer for operator input, and exchanges process data with PLCs or I/O over Ethernet/RS232 while storing projects and recipes on CompactFlash.
Installation Requirements: Flush-mounted in cabinet door cut-out, rear sealed to IP20, 24 VDC SELV supply with proper fusing, avoid direct sunlight and coolant spray on rear, torque frame evenly.
Usage Notes: Never connect mains AC to DC terminals; CF card must be inserted before power-up for rear IP20 rating; replace RTC battery every 4 years; do not use sharp objects on touch surface.
