Working Principle: The 4–20 mA signal drives the built-in I/P converter, producing a proportional air pressure that acts on a piston. The piston converts linear force into rotary motion via a rack-and-pinion or scotch-yoke mechanism. The spring provides the fail-safe return. Piston design delivers significantly higher torque than diaphragm types, enabling control of large-bore valves.
