Installation Requirements

  3. PROFIBUS bus cable must use shielded twisted pair PROFIBUS special cable, shield layer single-end grounding at cabinet side

Operation & Maintenance Precautions

  1. Do not plug/unplug PROFIBUS bus connector under powered state, hot plug will damage bus transceiver chip
  2. Calibrate bus terminal resistance at both ends of PROFIBUS trunk line; improper terminal resistance causes communication signal attenuation
  3. Regularly check stack connector pins for oxidation in high-humidity workshop environments, clean with contact cleaner
  4. Do not install module near strong vibration sources; long-term vibration will loosen stack connector pins
  5. If BF fault LED lights continuously, check bus short circuit, broken cable or slave station address conflict
  6. Store module in anti-static packaging bag when removed from system to prevent static electricity damage to onboard chips
