The module obtains power and data signal from PLC backplane or external power supply. It converts parallel data inside PLC into serial data complying with field bus protocol and sends to the network. It also receives data from other network nodes, converts into parallel data and transmits to PLC internal bus. The isolated circuit ensures safe data transmission and prevents external interference from affecting the control system.

- Cut off power before wiring and module disassembly.
