  • Built-in hardware watchdog circuit; automatically lock relay safe state when backplane communication fails
  • Complete on-board LED indicators: rack power, communication link, analog output active, relay alarm trigger
  • Full galvanic isolation between analog output, relay circuit and internal rack backplane circuit, eliminate ground loop interference in power plant environment
  • Dual seal anti-electromagnetic interference design, adapt strong EMI environment of turbine generator room

Working Principle

VM600 rack backplane transmits real-time dynamic machinery measurement data from MPC4 signal acquisition card to IOC4T internal processing chip. The chip scales vibration parameters into standard 4~20mA or 0~10V analog signal and drives external DCS analog input modules. When monitoring value exceeds user-configured warning or dangerous threshold, corresponding relay coil is energized, switch contact changes state to trigger on-site alarm lamp or turbine emergency trip system. All signal output circuits adopt isolation transformers to isolate field equipment and rack internal circuits.

Material & Structural Characteristics

  • Front Panel: Black metal spraying panel, labeled channel number, LED indicator window, J2 relay terminal, J3 signal test port
  • Main Circuit Board: Multi-layer high-temperature PCB, isolation optocoupler, signal operational amplifier, relay drive chip
  • Relays: Industrial-grade PE014005 mechanical relay with long service life, arc suppression circuit integrated
  • Backplane Connector: Gold-plated multi-pin high-vibration resistant plug, fixed locking screw

Installation Requirements

  1. Insert IOC4T card into any vacant slot of VM600 standard 12-slot rack, tighten front panel fixing screws to resist unit vibration
  2. Match MPC4 dynamic signal card in adjacent rack slot via dedicated internal flat cable
  3. Analog output wiring uses shielded twisted pair cable, single-end shielding grounding at rack ground bar
  4. Relay trip interlock wiring must use explosion-proof certified cable glands for hazardous area cabinets
  5. Rack cabinet maintain ventilation cooling, internal temperature cannot exceed 70°C
  6. Separate analog signal wiring from high-power turbine control cables by ≥50cm

Application Scenarios

  • Thermal power plant steam turbine vibration supervision TSI system
  • Petrochemical large centrifugal compressor machinery protection system
  • Natural gas pipeline gas turbine generator monitoring rack
  • Steel plant blast furnace blower fan vibration safety monitoring
  • Marine vessel main engine turbine condition monitoring system

Operation & Maintenance Precautions

  • Do not hot plug the card during rack power-on; power off rack backplane power before disassembly
  • When wiring analog output, strictly control load resistance within rated range, overload causes signal distortion
  • Trip relay wiring must add external arc suppression diode for inductive load to extend relay service life
  • Regularly calibrate analog output accuracy every 12 months with standard signal source
  • Avoid installing rack near high-frequency ignition equipment such as ignition transformers to prevent signal interference
