Working Principle
24 VDC supply voltage powers internal isolated DC-DC converter circuits supplying LCD backlight, touch controller and main CPU unit. HMI project program stored in on-board flash memory renders real-time machine process graphics on the color LCD screen. RS485/Ethernet communication ports continuously exchange register data with connected PLC/controller hardware; analog and digital process values update screen visualization in real time. Resistive touch panel converts operator screen press coordinates to digital control signals transmitted to CPU to execute machine run/stop, setpoint adjustment and recipe selection commands. All alarm trigger events are timestamped via on-board RTC clock and written to non-volatile recipe memory for permanent historical storage. USB host port facilitates full project program backup and recipe parameter export to external flash storage devices.
Advantage Highlights
- IP65 sealed front panel withstands direct water washdown in food and beverage processing production environments
- Universal multi-brand PLC protocol compatibility eliminates requirement for communication gateway converters
- Large on-board recipe memory supports complex multi-product batch manufacturing parameter storage
- Compact 5.7-inch footprint fits small machine control cabinet cutouts unavailable for large-screen HMIs
- Integrated USB port enables fast on-site project backup without dedicated programming PC Ethernet connection
- Tiered password user access prevents unauthorized modification of critical production machine parameters
Applicable Industries
Food & beverage packaging machinery, plastic injection molding equipment, small automated assembly stations, agricultural processing machinery, textile manufacturing equipment, water treatment skid mounted systems, portable industrial test machinery
Installation Requirements
- Install unit into flat cabinet cutout with specified dimensional tolerance ±0.5 mm to maintain IP65 front seal integrity
- Tighten four mounting clamps with uniform torque of 1.8 N·m to avoid uneven gasket compression and water ingress
- Route all rear wiring cables with sufficient strain relief to prevent connector vibration loosening
- Separate Ethernet/RS485 communication wiring and AC high-power motor wiring by minimum 12 cm distance
- Install unit in cabinet with maximum ambient operating temperature limited to +50 °C
- Connect 24 VDC power supply with built-in short-circuit and overvoltage protection circuitry
Operation Precautions
- Clean front touchscreen surface only with mild water-based cleaning agent; avoid alcohol and solvent chemical cleaners
- Replace RTC backup lithium cell every 6 years to eliminate timestamp data drift and loss
- Perform full HMI project program backup to USB storage device prior to program modification editing
- Do not expose front panel to high-pressure hot water washdown exceeding 60 °C liquid temperature
- Disconnect 24 VDC supply voltage before removing unit from cabinet cutout for maintenance
- Limit simultaneous active communication PLC connections to maximum two bus protocols to avoid screen refresh lag
