Product Short Description
Product Brief Introduction
DPS001 is the dedicated bus power supply module for SIGMATEK DIAS distributed industrial automation control system, acting as DC-DC isolated converter to provide stable 5 V bus power and auxiliary 24 V logic power for DIAS rack I/O modules, CPU controllers and communication boards. It is discontinued original factory model, widely stocked as spare parts for old packaging, textile and crane automation equipment.

Function Features
- Working Principle: High-frequency flyback DC-DC switching conversion topology; input wide-range DC voltage filtered and converted to two isolated stabilized DC output channels via high-frequency transformer, with closed-loop feedback voltage regulation circuit to maintain constant output voltage under variable load conditions
- Multi-layer protection mechanism: Overvoltage protection, overcurrent short-circuit protection, over-temperature automatic shutdown recovery
- Dual color LED status indicators: Green LED for 24 V input power OK, secondary green LED for DIAS bus DC output normal
- Automatic load current balance control when multiple DPS001 modules parallel in one DIAS rack
- Low power loss design, high conversion efficiency ≥89% under rated load
- Built-in reverse polarity protection on input terminal, preventing damage from wrong power wiring
- Compact DIN rail modular design, plug-and-play DIAS backplane bus connection without additional wiring
Material Composition
- Outer Housing: Flame-retardant PA66 plastic (UL94 V0 fire rating), light beige industrial standard color
- Internal Transformer Core: High permeability manganese zinc ferrite core
- Power Switching Components: Industrial grade MOSFET power tubes with heat sink aluminum sheet
- PCB Substrate: FR4 high-temperature flame retardant circuit board with tin-lead free plating
- Terminal Block: Copper alloy gold-plated spring clamp terminal for anti-loose wiring
Structural Characteristics
- Standard 35 mm top hat DIN rail snap mounting structure with integrated locking buckle
- Rear gold-plated edge connector directly inserts into DIAS system backplane bus
- Front panel 2-pin spring clamp terminal block for external 24 V DC power input
- Front visible dual LED status window for real-time power status observation
- Internal vertical heat sink layout for natural convection heat dissipation without cooling fan
- Separated isolation barrier between input and output circuits to eliminate cross-interference
Application Scenarios
- Automated packaging machinery DIAS control rack power supply
- Textile spinning, weaving machine distributed control system
- Port overhead crane, gantry crane SIGMATEK DIAS control cabinets
- Plastic injection molding machine old-generation DIAS automation systems
- Food processing assembly line distributed I/O control equipment
Installation Requirements
- Install on standard 35 mm DIN rail, lock buckle fully engaged to prevent sliding under vibration
- Maintain vertical installation orientation; avoid upside-down mounting to reduce heat dissipation efficiency
- Reserved 10 mm vertical gap between adjacent modules for heat convection
- Input power wire cross-section minimum 0.75 mm² copper wire, tightening torque 0.5 Nm
- Equipotential grounding wire connected to cabinet earth terminal to suppress EMC interference
- Do not install in sealed fully enclosed cabinet without ventilation; maximum ambient operating temperature must not exceed 60°C
Operation & Maintenance Precautions
- Do not connect input voltage exceeding 30 VDC; overvoltage will permanently damage internal switching tubes
- Short-circuit protection triggers automatic power cut; power cycle after eliminating short-circuit fault to restore operation
- Regularly clean dust accumulated on heat sink every 6 months in dusty production workshops
- Avoid installation near high-frequency inverter, welding equipment to prevent strong electromagnetic interference
- Parallel connection of more than 3 DPS001 modules requires additional external current balancing resistors
- Replace module immediately if LED indicator flashes abnormally, indicating internal circuit aging failure
