Working Principle
Universal single-phase AC mains voltage enters internal EMI filter circuit to eliminate grid conducted interference; filtered alternating current transmits to high-frequency switching transformer primary winding controlled by PWM power management chip. The chip adjusts switching duty cycle in real time to stabilize secondary winding 24 VDC output voltage. Rectifier and filter circuits convert high-frequency alternating voltage to smooth low-ripple 24 VDC direct current for external industrial loads. Built-in protection circuits continuously monitor output voltage and current parameters; overvoltage, overcurrent or short-circuit trigger immediate PWM switching shutdown to avoid load and power supply hardware damage, with automatic recovery after fault elimination.
Advantage Highlights
- Ultra-compact narrow body design saves cabinet horizontal installation space for multi-module stacking
- 85–264 VAC wide universal input compatible with all global factory single-phase power grids
- Auto-recovery short-circuit protection eliminates manual power cycle reset after wiring short fault
- Low ripple output ensures stable power supply for high-precision analog displacement and temperature sensors
- Passive natural heat dissipation structure eliminates fan maintenance and noise interference
- Dual installation modes (DIN rail / wall fixed) adapt to diversified cabinet layout requirements
Applicable Industries
General factory automation control cabinets, packaging machinery electrical control boxes, small test bench sensor power supply, environmental monitoring equipment, low-power industrial valve actuator control panels, intelligent building automation signal modules
Installation Requirements
- Fasten RPSTECH DMP10.24 onto standard 35 mm top-hat DIN rail via rear elastic locking clip; confirm full clip engagement to avoid sliding
- Reserve minimum 8 mm horizontal clearance between adjacent power supply modules for cross-module heat dissipation
- Separate AC input mains wiring from DC output signal wiring inside cabinet with minimum 10 cm distance to avoid interference coupling
- Connect cabinet PE ground bar to power supply dedicated ground terminal; grounding resistance ≤ 4 Ω
- Limit total DC load power below rated 10 W to prevent long-term overload aging
- Maintain cabinet internal continuous operating temperature below 55 °C to extend service life
Operation & Maintenance Precautions
- Cut off upstream AC mains power before disassembly of input and output wiring terminals
- Conduct annual inspection of terminal block screw tightness to eliminate loose contact heating risks
- Do not install adjacent to high-power frequency converters and contactors to avoid mains surge interference
- Regularly clean housing ventilation slits with dry compressed air to remove dust accumulation blocking heat dissipation
- Store spare units in dry sealed packaging to prevent plastic housing aging and circuit board moisture corrosion
- Strictly prohibit parallel connection of multiple DMP10.24 output terminals to expand load current
