The ProSoft AN-X2-AB-DHRIO is an Anybus X-gateway module that provides protocol translation between Allen-Bradley (Rockwell Automation) networks and the Data Highway Plus (DH+) RIO network. It enables seamless data exchange between PLCs, HMIs, and devices operating on these two incompatible industrial communication protocols. The “X2” designation indicates the second-generation Anybus X-gateway platform with enhanced performance and diagnostic capabilities.

Installation Requirements:

Usage Notes:
- DH+ network requires 120 Ω termination resistor at each end of the bus
- Do not mix DH+ and DH-485 devices on the same RIO segment
- EtherNet/IP IP address must be unique on the network
- Configuration backup recommended every 6 months (export .cfg file via web interface)
- Do not power cycle during active data transfer (may cause I/O mismatch)
