FCP-DN A911-2834 is a dedicated communication processor module for OKUMA OSP series CNC machine tools, supporting PROFIBUS-DP industrial fieldbus protocol. It realizes data exchange between CNC main control unit, peripheral servo drives, conveyor auxiliary equipment and factory upper MES production management system, undertaking real-time motion command transmission and equipment operation data upload core tasks for intelligent machine tool production lines.

Working Principle

- Isolated transceiver circuit transmits frame data to field PROFIBUS-DP slave devices (servo, conveyor, sensor station)
- Upload slave station equipment status, alarm code and real-time operating parameters back to CNC host and factory MES system

Installation Requirements
- Install horizontally in dedicated communication slot of OKUMA OSP CNC electrical cabinet, lock side fixing screw
- PROFIBUS communication cable use standard shielded DP bus cable, cable shielding layer double-ended grounded at cabinet ground row
- When module is at bus terminal node, toggle built-in terminal resistor switch to ON position
- Reserve 25mm heat dissipation gap between adjacent rack modules
- Machine tool cabinet air cooling system must maintain internal temperature below 55℃
Usage Precautions
- PROFIBUS bus cable wiring cannot be bundled with servo motor power cable, maintain minimum 15cm separation distance
- Do not hot-swap module during CNC machine automatic processing cycle, will trigger bus communication collapse and machine emergency stop
- Set unique non-repetitive address code for each DP slave station to avoid address conflict communication fault
- Clean D-SUB connector contact pin dust with anhydrous alcohol every 6 months
- Ambient temperature exceeding 55℃ will cause communication data packet loss and processing position deviation
