Material & Structural Characteristics
- PCB Circuit Board: 4-layer industrial-grade PCB, thickened copper power supply layer, enhanced heat conduction and anti-interference ability
- Cooling Heat Sink: Integral extruded aluminum alloy heat sink, dense fin structure to expand heat dissipation area, direct contact GPU chip with thermal conductive silicone pad
- Metal Bracket: Low-profile half-height steel baffle, surface black oxidation anti-rust treatment, reserved standard chassis fixing screw holes
- Display Interface Housing: Plastic reinforced DP interface shell, internal gold-plated contact pins, anti-oxidation, stable signal transmission for long-term plugging
- GPU Chip Packaging: Industrial-grade sealed packaging, enhanced resistance to temperature changes, adapt to workshop non-air-conditioned cabinet environment
Working Principle
- Display Signal Processing: The host CPU transmits desktop image rendering data to the GPU via PCIe bus; the G98 unified architecture GPU completes 2D desktop rendering, window overlay, color correction calculation
- Multi-Screen Signal Splitting: The internal display output controller separates two independent image signal streams, output to two DisplayPort interfaces separately, each channel supports independent resolution and refresh rate configuration
- Passive Heat Dissipation Cycle: GPU operation generates heat transferred to the aluminum heat sink through thermal pad; heat sink relies on cabinet internal natural air convection to dissipate heat into the surrounding air, no fan forced air supply required
- Hardware Video Decoding: When playing video files, the PureVideo HD dedicated decoding unit automatically takes over video stream decompression work, reduces CPU occupation rate, ensures smooth high-definition image output
Installation Requirements
- Chassis Space Requirement: Must use chassis supporting low-profile half-height expansion cards; full-height standard chassis can install the matching full-height replacement baffle
- PCIe Slot Installation: Insert the graphics card fully into the PCI Express x16/x1 slot of the motherboard, tighten the fixing screw between the card baffle and the chassis rear panel to prevent vibration loose contact
- Heat Dissipation Space Reserve: Reserve at least 50mm vertical clearance above the graphics card heat sink inside the chassis to ensure natural air convection heat dissipation; do not stack cables or other expansion cards to block the heat sink fins
- Display Cable Matching: Use standard DisplayPort 1.2 signal cables; if converting to DVI/HDMI, use certified active signal adapters to avoid screen flicker, resolution loss
- Host Power Supply Matching: Standard ATX industrial control power supply with 300W minimum rated power is sufficient; the graphics card does not require separate 6-pin auxiliary power line connection
Operation & Maintenance Notes
- Do not block the heat sink fins with internal chassis cables, plastic cable ties, expansion cards; blocked heat dissipation will cause GPU overheating, screen crash, automatic shutdown failure
- Avoid installing the host in closed, unventilated narrow cabinets without cooling fans; long-term high ambient temperature will accelerate GPU chip aging
- Every 6 months, open the chassis to clean dust accumulated on the aluminum heat sink surface; excessive dust will reduce heat dissipation efficiency and increase operating temperature
- This graphics card is designed for business 2D desktop display, not suitable for 3D game rendering, high-load 3D modeling rendering tasks; long-term heavy 3D load will cause overheating damage
- When replacing the graphics card driver, select NVIDIA enterprise stable long-term branch driver; avoid installing game-oriented new game ready drivers which may cause multi-screen display compatibility failures
- Do not repeatedly hot plug DisplayPort display cables when the host is powered on; hot plug will generate instantaneous surge current and damage the internal display output circuit of the graphics card
