Functional Features
IEC 61131-3 programming with CoDeSys-based MACS environment.
PLCopen motion libraries and Moog Z-functions for transfer-function modeling.
Integrated hydraulic and electric axis control in one runtime.
E-bus expansion to additional M3000 modules for distributed I/O.
Application Scenarios
Injection molding and blow molding machines, forging presses, multi-cylinder synchronization, hexapod simulators, automotive test rigs, wind-turbine pitch control and turbine valve regulation.
Material Composition
Industrial printed circuit boards, aluminum or sheet-steel DIN housing, pluggable terminal connectors and front status LEDs.
Structural Characteristics
Compact DIN-rail body with separate power, I/O, fieldbus and USB sections. Firmware and license tier determine available motion libraries; D138-002-002 provides advanced motion functions above the basic automation tier.
Working Principle
The controller executes control tasks at deterministic cycle times, reads analog and encoder feedback, calculates position, velocity, pressure or force errors, and outputs commands to servo amplifiers or servo valves through analog, CANopen or EtherCAT interfaces.
Installation Requirements
Snap onto a 35 mm DIN rail and seat the E-bus connector for multi-module systems.
Use pluggable terminals with conductor cross-section up to 2.5 mm².
Connect stabilized 24 VDC and route encoder cables with shielding.
Integrate the watchdog output into the emergency-stop circuit.
Usage Precautions
Backup the flash project before firmware updates.
Do not mix basic, motion and professional license configurations without verifying MACS tier.
Check LED status for run, stop and error conditions during commissioning.
