Working Principle

Emits high-frequency ultrasonic sound pulses toward target surface; measures time-of-flight of reflected echo to calculate linear distance between sensor and measured object. Digital signal processor filters echo signals to distinguish valid target reflections from background noise.

Installation Requirements

  4. Avoid direct installation facing strong air jets, steam nozzles or high-temperature heat sources

Operation Precautions

  1. Do not scratch or abrade PTFE transducer membrane; surface damage distorts ultrasonic beam
  2. Prevent continuous condensation buildup on sensor front face; install air purge fitting for high-humidity environments
  3. Calibrate sensor target window after temperature shift exceeding ±10 °C
  4. Isolate adjacent MIC+ sensors via synchronization function when mounted less than 300 mm apart
