Working Principle
Square wave pulse signals output from industrial flow meters enter isolated signal conditioning circuits, hardware 32-bit counters record pulse frequency and pulse total quantity in real time. Scaling factors stored in onboard Flash memory convert raw pulse count to actual flow volume and instantaneous flow rate, processed flow data transmits to rack main controller via ACN backplane bus. Hardware circuits continuously monitor pulse signal presence and trigger front panel alarm LED when pulse signal loss occurs.
