Functional Features:
- Wireless optical data transmission under unobstructed line of sight
- DDLS 500 supports high-speed 100 Mbit/s Ethernet transmission
- DDLS 200 supports stable data transmission for various industrial bus protocols
- Heating option for extreme low-temperature environments (-35°C for DDLS 500, -30°C for DDLS 200)
- Parallel transmission lines can be decoupled to exclude mutual crosstalk
- Remote start/stop input control (IN terminal: 0–2 V = off; 18–30 V = on)
- Three operating modes: AUT (automatic), MAN (manual debugging), ADJ (alignment)
- 10-segment LED light column displays received signal strength
- OUTTWARN alarm output for low receive strength (max 100 mA, with short circuit/surge/overheat protection)
Application Scenarios:
- Conveyor Systems: Integration of transfer cars of all types into existing industrial system communication networks
- Electroplating Plants: Gantry systems where multiple hangers moving in sequence must be connected in parallel to a central master computer in confined spaces
- Automated Stereoscopic Warehouses: Fixed transmission between storage systems
- Building-to-Building Transmission: Long-distance data transmission between structures
- Rotary Transmission: Data transmission for rotating equipment
- Stationary/Moving Object Transmission: Long-distance data links for both stationary and mobile industrial objects
Installation & Usage Notes:
- Pairing: Devices must be installed in opposite directions in pairs with an unobstructed light path
- Mounting: Secure with 4 × Φ5mm screws
- Alignment: Optical opening angle of ±0.5° (DDLS 200); fine-tuning angle of ±6°
- Anti-Interference Spacing: For parallel same-frequency devices, minimum spacing is 300 mm (120 type) or 500 mm (200 type); spacing must be calculated according to distance formula for same-frequency parallel operation
- Coaxial Optical Path: Paired installation ensures coaxial optical paths
- Maintenance: Clean optical windows monthly using a soft cloth and glass cleaner; avoid solvents such as acetone
- Laser Safety: Class 1M laser product (DDLS 5xx) — never observe directly using telescope optics; invisible laser radiation at 852 nm wavelength with maximum peak output < 36 mW
- Power Interruption Effect: Power outage or obstruction of optical path is equivalent to bus disconnection
- Mode Switching: Long press >2 seconds to switch between AUT and MAN; short press to switch between MAN and ADJ (both ends must be in MAN mode for ADJ)
