FC-RPB2N12 is a 12-slot standard power distribution backplane dedicated to Honeywell Safety Manager SIS system cabinet, providing shared redundant 24VDC safety power bus and high-speed safety communication bus interface for FC series CPU, I/O, power supply and cooling fan modules. Installation Requirements
- Fixed horizontally inside Safety Manager standard cabinet rear wall with 4 M6 stainless steel fixing bolts
- Connect FC-PSU-UNI2450U power supply DC output terminal to backplane power access copper bar with 1.5N·m standard torque
- Maintain 50mm vertical ventilation gap between backplane and cabinet rear wall for heat dissipation
- All slot modules slide fully into rail until front panel locking buckle clicks into fixed position
- Cabinet safety ground wire connect backplane metal frame dedicated grounding terminal
Usage Precautions
- Forbid replacing slot fuse with non-original overcurrent rated fuse, will lose single-slot fault isolation protection function
- Do not install overweight non-standard modules exceeding 1.2kg single slot load limit
- Clean backplane slot gold-plated contact pin dust with anhydrous alcohol every 12 months
- Avoid bending, squeezing backplane circuit board during module disassembly and assembly
