FC-QPP-0001 is the core main controller module of Honeywell Safety Manager SIS safety instrument system, adopting quad-core redundant safety processor architecture. Installation Requirements
- Install two FC-QPP-0001 modules in adjacent dedicated main processor slots of Safety Manager cabinet for redundant hot standby configuration
- Dual Ethernet communication wiring adopt separate shielded twisted pair cable, two cables route independently without parallel bundling
- Reserve 40mm vertical heat dissipation gap above and below processor module
- Cabinet internal dust filter replaced every 3 months to prevent dust accumulation blocking heat dissipation air duct
- System safety ground resistance controlled below 4Ω
Usage Precautions
- Do not hot-swap master running FC-QPP-0001 module during safety system automatic operation, will trigger full system safety trip
- Complete full system logic verification test after module replacement or program download
- Avoid cutting off cabinet power supply during safety event log storage writing cycle
- RS485 maintenance port only connect official Honeywell debugging equipment, forbid third-party uncertified terminal access
