Working Principle
Each input channel optically isolates the 24 V field signal, conditions it through a configurable filter, and latches state or edge counts into the module FPGA/ASIC. The controller reads the latched data over the I/O bus.

Seat in the designated Honeywell I/O carrier slot. Supply 24 V DC field power to the terminal block. Ground the shield correctly and respect wire gauge limits.
Usage Precautions
Set input delay appropriately for pulse applications; excessive debounce will miss counts. Confirm isolation rating before mixing voltage sources. Avoid hot removal unless the carrier explicitly supports it.
