Product Short Description
Product Name: FMS EMGZ 306A Web Tension Signal Amplifier
Product Introduction: The EMGZ 306A is a single-channel analog tension measuring amplifier capable of connecting to one or two force sensors. It converts the millivolt signal from force sensors into standardized analog outputs for seamless integration with PLCs, displays, and control systems — no programming required.

Structural Characteristics: Compact housing designed to snap onto a DIN mounting rail; all connections via screw terminals; can connect 1 or 2 force sensors of 350 Ω.
Working Principle: Force sensors based on the flexion beam principle measure tension via strain gauges wired in Wheatstone bridge configuration, transmitting an mV signal to the amplifier. The EMGZ306A provides a highly accurate 5 V power supply to the sensors, amplifies the mV signal to a standardized ±10 V or 4–20 mA output, with measuring circuit and power supply galvanically insulated.
Installation Requirements: DIN-rail mounting inside a control cabinet (IP20 requires protected environment).
Usage Notes: The compound-filled model is recommended for demanding rotating applications. Calibration can be performed via the CAL push button function (model EMGZ306A.CAL) using calculation methods based on application and geometry data, though accuracy is lower than standard weight-based calibration.
