Working Principle

Module draws operating power from chassis 24VDC supply, with precision voltage divider circuits continuously sampling primary and redundant power source voltages. 16 bidirectional digital buffer circuits receive auxiliary safety status signals from field secondary sensors, isolating and buffering signals for transmission to main CPU. Dedicated backplane monitoring circuit continuously verifies bus communication handshake signals; loss of valid handshake triggers immediate fault alarm signal to safety CPU and front panel fault LED illumination.

Installation Requirements
