Working Principle

Each 4–20mA field transmitter loop connects to isolated input circuits on F6706 module. 16-bit high-precision ADC converts analog current signals to digital measurement values, transmitted to HIMA safety CPU via backplane safety bus. Embedded HART demodulator circuits extract digital diagnostic data superimposed on analog 4–20mA signals. Continuous impedance measurement on each loop identifies wire break or short-circuit faults, with all fault data logged to system diagnostic registers for safety logic evaluation.

Installation Requirements

  1. Install exclusively in HIMA HIMax C / HIQuad certified DIN rail safety chassis
