Working Principle

24 VDC dry contact switch signals from field machinery equipment connect to independent DI channel input circuits, each signal passes through reverse polarity protection circuit and RC debounce filter before entering optocoupler isolation chip to convert external field signal to isolated internal logic level. Internal bus controller compresses 32 channel binary status data into Profibus-DP protocol frame and cyclically transmits to master PLC controller via field bus cable.
