Working Principle:
The D5091S relay module receives a 24 Vdc input signal (21.6 to 27.6 Vdc range) with reverse polarity protection. The relay coil is internally protected with suppressor diodes. When the drive signal is high (24 Vdc), the relay energizes and contacts change state. For SIL 3 safety function with Normally De-Energized load at terminals 7-8, the relay is normally de-energized with contacts open and load de-energized in the safe state. When the drive signal is high, the relay energizes and the load is powered. A dedicated internal circuit permits driving pulse testing without contact or LED flickering.
