Product Short Description

Product Name
GE PACSystems RX3i 32-point 12/24 VDC sourcing output module with electronic short-circuit protection.
Product Introduction
IC694MDL754 provides 32 discrete sourcing outputs for RX3i programmable automation systems. Each point is electronically protected, reports faults to the CPU, and auto-recovers after the fault condition is cleared. The module is designed for high-density valve, relay, and actuator control.

Performance Parameters
0.75 A continuous per output supports most 24 VDC solenoid and relay loads.
0.5 ms switching supports high-speed discrete control.
Per-point protection isolates one shorted load without shutting down the whole group.
Materials And Construction
RX3i molded module housing.
Solid-state sourcing output drivers with current-sense circuitry.
Gold-plated backplane connector and removable terminal block.
LED array for 32 output statuses and module health.
Working Principle
The CPU sends output image data to the module. Each point drives the load from the external 12/24 VDC supply through a protected MOSFET/sourcing stage. Current monitoring compares actual load current with the protection threshold. During overload or short circuit, the point shuts off, reports a diagnostic bit, and resumes operation automatically after the fault is removed.
Installation Requirements
Install in a PACSystems RX3i rack with compatible CPU firmware.
Connect external 10.2 to 30 VDC power for each output group.
Use IC694TBB032 or IC694TBS032 terminal block with proper torque.
Separate group power supplies according to isolation requirements.
Provide DIN or panel mounting with specified rack spacing.
Usage Precautions
Do not connect output loads above 0.75 A per point.
Verify inductive loads have suppression to reduce transient stress.
Check group isolation before using two different DC power sources.
Review CPU firmware compatibility before inserting into an existing RX3i system.
Reset or acknowledge fault diagnostics only after correcting the wiring fault.
