Product Short Description
Product Name: DELTASCOPE® DMP®10 / ISOSCOPE® DMP®10 Handheld Coating Thickness Measuring Instrument
Product Overview: A robust, powerful handheld instrument for non-destructive coating thickness measurement. The DELTASCOPE DMP10 variant measures on ferrous substrates by the magnetic induction method per DIN EN ISO 2178; the ISOSCOPE DMP10 variant measures on non-ferrous metals by the amplitude-sensitive eddy current method per DIN EN ISO 2360. Both variants support the FPR1 profile probe for determining surface profile depth according to ASTM 4471.

Scope of Delivery: Compact carrying case, English quick guide, interface cable, rechargeable battery, carrying strap with panic lock. The measuring probe is required for operation and must be purchased separately.
Structural & Material Features: All-aluminum housing provides durability and IP64 protection. The probe connector is robust. Graphic operating aids guide the user through each step of the process.
Working Principle: Non-destructive, tactile measurement using either magnetic induction (for ferrous substrates) or the amplitude-sensitive eddy current method (for non-ferrous metals). The appropriate probe is selected based on the substrate, and the instrument evaluates the signal to calculate the coating thickness.
Application Scenarios: Quality assurance and coating inspection in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, electronics, and field environments where reliable and accurate measurement on steel, iron, aluminum, copper, or brass is required.
Usage Notes: Select a calibrated probe matching the coating and substrate combination, perform calibration on a reference standard, and keep the USB port and probe connector clean and dry. The intuitive menu navigation allows easy handling even by untrained personnel.
