Product Introduction

This is a high-sensitivity ultraviolet flame detector for industrial combustion systems. It adopts UV sensing technology to monitor combustion flame status in real time, outputs switch signal for interlock control. It is mainly used for flame safety monitoring of various industrial burners and combustion furnaces in general industrial areas.

Working Principle

The ultraviolet ray generated by combustion flame penetrates the optical window and acts on the internal UV sensor. The sensor converts optical signal into electrical signal. After amplification and logic judgment by internal circuit, the detector outputs flame existence signal to the control system. Once the flame goes out, the UV signal disappears, the circuit immediately reverses the output state, sends flame failure alarm signal and links with combustion control system to cut off fuel supply.

Installation Requirements
  1. Install on the reserved mounting seat of combustion equipment, align the optical window towards flame.
  2. Tighten the thread to ensure firm installation and good sealing.
  3. Route wires into the rear wiring cavity and fix terminals firmly.
  4. Avoid direct strong light irradiation on the optical window for a long time.
Usage Notes
  1. Clean the surface of optical window regularly to avoid dirt affecting detection.
  2. Do not knock or drop the detector during use and transportation.
  3. Cut off power supply before disassembly and maintenance.
  4. Adjust sensitivity properly according to actual flame conditions.
  5. Replace the UV sensor in time when detection sensitivity decreases obviously.
