Product Introduction
This is an explosion-proof ultraviolet (UV) flame detector, specially used for flame detection and monitoring of industrial combustion equipment. It detects ultraviolet radiation generated by flame combustion, converts optical signals into electrical signals, and sends flame on/off status to the control system for combustion safety interlock protection. It is designed for explosive hazardous areas.

When the burner ignites, the flame generates ultraviolet radiation. The UV light passes through the quartz glass window and irradiates on the internal UV phototube. The phototube converts optical signal into weak electrical signal. After amplification, filtering and judgment by internal circuit, the detector outputs flame present signal to external control system. When flame extinguishes, UV signal disappears, the circuit acts immediately and outputs flame loss signal to trigger alarm and interlock protection.

- Install at the designated observation position of combustion equipment, align optical window with flame area.
- Tighten mounting thread to ensure firm installation and good sealing.
- Complete wiring in explosion-proof wiring cavity per explosion-proof electrical specifications.
- Keep the optical window unobstructed, no shielding objects.
- Install in accordance with local explosion-proof electrical installation codes.
- Regularly clean dust and oil dirt on quartz glass window to ensure detection sensitivity.
- Do not impact or scratch the optical window.
- Do not disassemble the explosion-proof housing in hazardous areas during operation.
- Check wiring sealing performance periodically to prevent gas leakage.
- Calibrate detection sensitivity regularly per equipment operation requirements.
