Working Principle
Thermocouples generate millivolt voltage signals corresponding to temperature difference. The module receives low voltage signals, performs signal filtering and amplification. The onboard CJC sensor measures terminal block ambient temperature, calculates reference junction temperature. ADC converts analog signals into digital values. Digital data is uploaded to DeltaV controller through local I/O bus for temperature calculation and process control.

Installation Requirements
- Install module on DeltaV Classic I/O carrier mounted on standard DIN rail inside control cabinet
- Maintain sufficient ventilation space around modules to avoid heat accumulation
- Match with dedicated CJC terminal block for thermocouple wiring
- Complete ESD protection before touching module; wear anti-static wrist strap
- Tighten locking screws after plugging the module into terminal base
- Separate thermocouple signal cables from high-power AC cables to reduce electromagnetic interference
Usage Notes
- Do not operate outside the specified temperature and humidity range
- Use shielded thermocouple compensation cables; terminate cable shield at single grounding point
- Avoid mechanical impact and vibration during operation
- Cut off related field circuit before module replacement
- Regularly check terminal screw torque to prevent loose wiring
- Do not disassemble module housing without authorization, which voids product warranty
