Working Principle
Safety sensor signals (fire detectors, overpressure transmitters, emergency stop buttons) input to isolated channels of SLS1508, dual independent internal CPU processors simultaneously collect and calculate safety interlock logic via 1oo2 voting mechanism. Only when both CPU judgment results consistent, safety output relay contact closes to maintain normal production; once inconsistent or fault threshold exceeded, safety output immediately de-energizes to trigger shutdown valve trip. Dual redundant SISnet bus synchronizes logic solver state data between multiple SLS1508 modules in safety cabinet, realizing distributed safety interlock coordination across whole plant process units. Continuous background self-test circuit detects internal component degradation without interrupting safety function.
