Working Principle
Sixteen individual isolated current sampling circuits convert field 4–20 mA analog signals to high-resolution digital measurement data. Integrated multi-channel HART modem extracts digital configuration and diagnostic data superimposed on analog current waveforms. Onboard module processor aggregates all channel data and transmits via high-speed DeltaV backplane serial bus to primary system controller for process control calculation and HART device data access.
