Product Short Description
Product Brief Introduction
4-channel isolated analog output terminal block transmitting 4–20mA control signals to field modulating actuators (control valves, variable frequency drives), supports HART digital communication for remote valve calibration and diagnostic data upload, full galvanic isolation to protect controller analog circuits from field surge damage.
Description
Core Technical Parameters
- Channel Quantity: 4 independent isolated analog output channels
- Output Signal Range: 4 mA ~ 20 mA standard industrial analog control signal
- HART Protocol: HART 5 / HART 7 bidirectional digital communication overlay
- Loop Load Resistance Capacity: Maximum 750 Ω field loop resistance per channel
- Channel-to-Backplane Isolation: 1500 VAC optoelectronic isolation
- Diagnostic Functions: Loop open circuit, over-range current, HART communication loss detection
Structural Characteristics
Front panel channel status LED indicators, transparent wiring safety cover, dedicated shield cable grounding terminals, mechanical coding key matching AO function cards only.
Working Principle
Digital control value from DeltaV AO card is converted to precise analog 4–20mA current signal via isolated DAC circuits; HART digital command data is superimposed onto analog current loop to realize bidirectional communication with smart control valves, transmitting valve position feedback, calibration data and fault diagnostic information back to the DCS system.
Application Scenarios
- Modulating control valve position control, variable frequency drive speed setpoint signal transmission
- Refinery, chemical plant, power boiler continuous process closed-loop PID control loops
Operation Precautions
Total field loop resistance must not exceed 750 Ω; increase signal wire cross-section or shorten cable length if overloaded to avoid signal distortion
