Working Principle
Field 4–20mA analog signals with superimposed HART digital modulation enter screw terminals, pass through overvoltage surge suppression circuits and optoelectronic isolation barriers before transmitting analog current signals to the paired DeltaV AI I/O card. HART digital data is extracted and routed to the controller for AMS asset predictive maintenance diagnostics.
