Working Principle:
The module receives data commands from Ovation DCS controller via backplane bus, converts internal bus protocol to standard RS-485 serial protocol, and exchanges data with third-party instruments, PLCs and intelligent meters. It uploads field device data to DCS system and forwards control commands downwards.
