- Rear busbar lug mounting interface for horizontal bus connection
- Standard mounting footprint compliant with IEC standard MCCB cabinet cutout
Working Principle
Thermal bimetallic strip deforms under sustained overload current to trigger mechanical trip linkage for long-time protection; high short-circuit current generates instantaneous magnetic flux in trip coil to pull armature and disconnect main contacts within milliseconds; arc generated during breaking is split and cooled by stacked steel arc plates for rapid arc extinction.
Advantage Highlights
- Fixed FT trip unit delivers consistent protection threshold without field calibration
- W suffix reinforced sealing resists dust, moisture and mild corrosive gas in semi-outdoor stations
- High mechanical and electrical cycle lifespan reduces equipment replacement frequency
- Standard LOTO lock structure complies with global industrial safety management standards
- Universal cabinet mounting size compatible with mainstream low-voltage distribution cabinet brands
Applicable Industries
Power generation auxiliary distribution, petrochemical plant power rooms, manufacturing factory MCC, commercial building main distribution boards, water treatment plant low-voltage systems, mining surface power distribution
Installation Requirements
- Mount vertically only, tilt angle not exceeding ±5° from vertical axis
- Maintain minimum 50mm clearance top and bottom for heat dissipation
- Torque terminal lugs to manufacturer specified 28 N·m tightening torque
- Outdoor installation with W variant requires external rain shield auxiliary housing
- Busbar connection must use tin-plated copper lugs to avoid contact resistance overheating
Operation & Maintenance Precautions
- Do not modify internal trip mechanism or disassemble arc chamber without factory authorization
- Quarterly inspection of contact indicator window for abnormal discoloration from arc damage
- Annual torque retightening of power terminals to eliminate thermal expansion loose contact
- For corrosive environment operation, clean housing surface dust every 6 months with dry compressed air
- Replace unit immediately after short-circuit fault breaking regardless of visual integrity
