Material And Structure: ABS case. Lead alloy plates. Glass-mat separator holding electrolyte. Pressure-relief safety valves. Sealed terminals. The AGM design allows operation in multiple orientations without leakage under normal valve operation.
Working Principle: Electrochemical reactions between lead-dioxide positive plates and sponge-lead negative plates in sulfuric electrolyte generate DC voltage. During charging, electrical energy restores active material; during discharging, chemical energy delivers current to the load.
Installation Requirements: Install in ventilated battery compartment or UPS bay. Use correctly sized cables and terminal torque. Maintain ambient temperature within charge/discharge limits. For standby service use constant-voltage charging with current restriction. For cycle service use constant-voltage and constant-current charging per manufacturer schedule.
Usage Precautions: Do not short terminals. Do not exceed 3.6 A charging current. Do not expose to open flame or incinerate. Inspect valves and case for swelling. Equalize charging only under recommended schedule. Recycle according to local battery disposal regulations.
