Working Principle

The Cortex-A8 main processor executes HMI project logic stored in Flash ROM, continuously polls connected industrial controllers via serial/Ethernet interfaces to read real-time register data, then maps data to screen graphic components for display. Touch layer analog voltage signals generated by operator touch actions are sampled and converted to coordinate data by touch control chip, which transmits coordinate commands to main CPU to trigger corresponding screen button logic. The LED backlight drive circuit adjusts display brightness according to user configuration or ambient light timing rules. All communication ports adopt isolated power circuits to block industrial field common-mode interference, and the galvanized steel rear shell shields internal circuits from electromagnetic radiation. The backup lithium battery maintains RTC chip power when external DC24V power is disconnected.

Installation Requirements

  1. Pre-cut cabinet panel cutout per official dimension drawing; install the matched silicone sealing gasket before embedding the HMI unit
  2. Tighten mounting fixing screws with torque strictly controlled below 0.7 N·m to prevent plastic frame cracking
  3. Reserve unobstructed ventilation space at the top and bottom rear ventilation slits; no wiring harness blocking air flow channels
  4. Power supply must adopt isolated SELV Class 2 DC24V power adapter to meet insulation safety standards
  5. Communication signal cables use shielded twisted pair, shield single-point grounding inside control cabinet
  6. Installation environment pollution degree must be controlled to Pollution Degree 2

Usage Precautions

  1. Do not wipe front tempered glass with corrosive organic solvents; use neutral water-based cleaning cloth only

  3. Avoid direct long-term sunlight irradiation on front panel to accelerate backlight aging
