Product Short Description
Product Introduction
The MVC3001-4003A is a dedicated high-performance control unit developed by Converteam for MV DELTA and MV-LCD medium voltage inverter systems. It executes full closed-loop motor control, power unit monitoring, fault diagnosis and communication management for medium voltage variable frequency drives. It operates as an independent cassette-style controller and exchanges real-time data with power transistor bridge modules and rectifier assemblies inside the drive cabinet.

Working Principle
The controller receives setpoint commands from the upper-level system, collects voltage, current and temperature feedback signals from each power cell. It calculates PWM modulation signals through internal control algorithms, sends drive pulses to power transistor modules, and continuously monitors operating status. When abnormal operating conditions are detected, the controller immediately triggers protection interlock and records fault information.
Material Composition & Structural Features
- Outer housing: Flame-retardant industrial ABS plastic with metal reinforcement frame
- Internal hardware: Multi-layer printed circuit board with surface-mount industrial-grade semiconductors, isolated signal transformers, surge suppression components
- Mechanical structure: Standard cassette drawer design, built-in locking buckle for cabinet rail mounting; internal independent power supply isolation zone and signal isolation zone
Application Scenarios
Medium voltage frequency conversion drive systems used in oil & gas, thermal power plants, water supply & drainage pumping stations, mine main fans, cement plant raw material mills, metallurgical rolling equipment, large ventilation systems.
Installation Requirements
- Install inside closed medium voltage drive cabinet on standard DIN rail or dedicated bracket
- Maintain minimum 20 mm clearance around the module for natural air convection cooling
- Separate power wiring and signal wiring to avoid electromagnetic interference
- Implement reliable protective earth connection following Converteam grounding specification
- Ensure vibration amplitude at installation position meets industrial control component standard
Usage Notes
- Do not hot-plug the module while the main drive system is energized
- All parameter modifications must be completed with formal system stop procedure
- Keep RS485 communication cable shield grounded at single end
- Avoid exposure to dust, corrosive gas, condensed water and strong electromagnetic radiation
- Regularly clean ventilation gaps and inspect terminal screw tightening torque during maintenance
