Working Principle
Three-phase generator terminal voltage sensing signals are transmitted to internal voltage sampling circuit; microprocessor compares sampled voltage value with user set reference voltage, calculates control deviation and outputs PWM drive signals to six-pulse thyristor rectifier bridge. Rectifier converts AC auxiliary power to adjustable DC excitation current supplied to generator rotor winding to realize terminal voltage closed-loop regulation. Built-in stator current limiting, field overcurrent, under-excitation and over-excitation protection logic monitors generator operating status and cuts excitation output upon fault threshold crossing.
