Product Short Description

Product Introduction
The DKC013-100-7-FW code corresponds to the Bosch Rexroth Indramat DKC01.3-100-7-FW high-current EcoDrive03 controller. It integrates the rectifier, DC intermediate circuit, IGBT inverter and digital motion controller in one cabinet unit. The drive supplies 100 A continuous output on a 700 VDC bus and controls MKD, MHD and other compatible servo motors for position, speed and torque duties.

Functional Features
100 A continuous output supports large inertial loads, high-acceleration axes and heavy machining feeds.
Field-oriented control provides torque, speed and position regulation in one firmware platform.
SERCOS II and optional bus cards enable deterministic multi-axis coordination.
Universal feedback interface operates resolver, EnDat, Hiperface and incremental encoders without hardware replacement when the correct card is installed.
Integrated bleeder and ZKS brake circuit manage deceleration energy and prevent DC-bus overvoltage.
Modular firmware module allows function-set changes for different machine automation requirements.
Application Scenarios
CNC machining centers, heavy-duty milling and turning axes, metal-forming presses, plastic injection and blow-molding machines, printing presses, converting lines, test benches, robotic cells, material-handling systems and multi-axis synchronized production machinery.
Performance Parameters
Continuous current delivery at 100 A sustains rated motor torque without external current amplifiers.
700 VDC bus supports fast current-loop response and high dynamic acceleration.
Switching at 8 kHz reduces motor acoustic noise and torque ripple for finishing operations.
SERCOS II cycle performance provides synchronized interpolation for multi-axis contouring.
Bleeder and brake-resistor data define permissible regenerative energy for repeated decelerations; oversized regeneration requires an external resistor sized from the duty cycle.
Material Composition
Enclosure uses coated steel or aluminum alloy with cabinet-grade insulation.
Power section contains IGBT inverter modules, rectifier bridge, DC-link capacitors, bleeder resistors, soft-start resistor and current sensors.
Control section contains industrial PCBs, microprocessor, EEPROM, encoder interface circuits and communication transceivers.
Cooling section contains an insulated axial blower, airflow ducts and IP20 protective vents.
Feedback and bus connectors use gold- or tin-plated industrial contact elements with shielded cable interfaces.
Structural Characteristics
The unit consists of a three-phase rectifier stage, DC intermediate circuit with capacitors and bleeder, IGBT inverter stage, control processor board, feedback interface board, communication option slot, firmware module socket and blower assembly. All power terminals, DC-bus connections and signal connectors are arranged for vertical panel installation with separated high-voltage and low-voltage routing.
Working Principle
The rectifier converts three-phase mains to 700 VDC on the intermediate circuit. The control processor receives position, speed or torque commands from SERCOS, analog, parallel or serial interfaces and reads motor feedback from the resolver, EnDat, Hiperface or incremental encoder. The digital current controller computes the required stator currents and drives the IGBT inverter with PWM output. The closed loop continuously corrects current, velocity and position errors. Regenerative energy is absorbed by the bleeder and ZKS brake circuit to maintain DC-bus voltage within limits.
Installation Requirements
Mount vertically in a grounded control cabinet with specified top and bottom blower clearance.
Supply three-phase 380 to 480 VAC through properly sized breakers, contactors and mains filters.
Connect 24 VDC control voltage to the logic interface before applying power-stage voltage.
Use DC-bus cables and motor cables with cross-sections specified by the Rexroth selection manual.
Install encoder, resolver and SERCOS cables with continuous shielding and separate trays from power cables.
Insert the correct firmware module and configure communication address, feedback type and motor parameters before first run.
Allow the DC-bus capacitors to discharge fully according to the safety interval before any terminal work.
Usage Precautions
Confirm the exact suffix DKC01.3-100-7-FW, firmware variant, feedback card and motor compatibility before replacement.
Apply only 380 to 480 VAC three-phase mains and 24 VDC control voltage.
Do not operate beyond 100 A continuous rating without verifying thermal derating and cabinet cooling.
Verify motor insulation, shaft load, encoder alignment and brake function before energization.
Restore validated parameters and firmware backup after replacement; mismatched firmware causes communication and motion faults.
