Working Principle
- User touch input coordinates captured by capacitive touch controller and transmitted to internal ARM CPU
- CPU exchanges real-time production data with connected PLC/controllers via Ethernet or serial bus
- Render graphical operation screens, digital readouts, trend graphs, and alarm prompts on TFT display
- Process GPIO digital I/O signals to trigger external indicator lights, buzzers, or interlock relays
- Store historical production data and fault records in local Flash memory for later export via USB storage
- Transmit alarm status and operating parameters to upper monitoring SCADA through Modbus TCP Ethernet
Material & Structural Characteristics
- Front Frame: Die-cast aluminum alloy with matte black anodized anti-corrosion finish
- Display Seal: EPDM rubber full perimeter gasket to achieve IP65 dust/water splash front protection
- Main Enclosure: Flame-retardant PC plastic rear housing with passive aluminum heat sink plate
- Circuit Board: Conformal coated PCB to resist condensation, dust, and industrial chemical vapor
- Cable Connectors: Lockable circular industrial M12 connectors for vibration-resistant wiring
Installation Requirements
- Embedded panel cutout mounting; lock with four stainless steel mounting clamps supplied with unit
- Install cabinet ventilation to avoid surrounding temperature exceeding +60°C; reserve 30mm rear clearance for wiring
- Route communication cables as shielded twisted pairs; separate high-power motor cables by ≥20cm
- Power supply wiring adopts twisted pair shielded cable with surge suppression terminal block
- Ground touch panel rear earth lug to cabinet protective ground point
Usage Precautions
- Do not clean touch screen with alcohol, acetone, or corrosive solvents; use neutral water-based microfiber cloth only
- Avoid sharp metal objects scratching capacitive touch glass surface
- Disable backlight auto-sleep only if continuous visual monitoring is mandatory to extend LCD service life
- Do not plug/unplug serial/Ethernet communication cables under live power to prevent port chip burnout
- If deployed in chemical workshop, install transparent protective polycarbonate cover to block corrosive fumes
