Function Features
- Flexible Configuration: With built – in flexible configuration software, application variations can be selected using an external computer. Changing the application to suit the engine speed range, gear teeth, and selecting forward or reverse acting can be achieved through software setup.
- Backward Compatibility: The 2301E controller is backward compatible with the existing 2301D product as it has the same footprint and mounting configuration.
- Status Indicators: Additional status LEDs for power and RS – 422 communication.
- Fault Data Logging: It has a fault data logging capability, which can collect 16 seconds of data every 10 milliseconds in case of a shutdown, and also detect peak speed and load.
- Diverse Actuator Drive: Low – current PWM output for driving Woodward’s L – series, F – series, P – series and PISC actuators.
- Multiple Control Modes: Provides control in either isochronous mode, droop mode, or base load mode, and allows for soft load transfer when being added to or removed from a bus.
Application Scenarios
- Power Generation: Suitable for engine – driven generator sets in power plants, including diesel – powered and gas – powered generator sets, to achieve load sharing and speed control.
