- Weight: The net weight is 3 kilograms, which is moderate in weight, facilitating on – site installation, disassembly and replacement operations by maintenance personnel without relying on complex lifting tools.
- Structural Design: The three internal sub – circuits are completely isolated from each other. Each sub – circuit is equipped with independent circuits and components, which prevents fault spread between circuits and ensures the independence of signal processing.

- Power Supply: It is powered by the Triconex system chassis backplane and is compatible with the 24V DC power supply standard, which is consistent with the power supply specifications of the entire Triconex control system and ensures stable power supply.
- Isolation Performance: Each sub – circuit adopts photoelectric isolation technology to realize electrical isolation between the on – site signal and the Triconex system. This isolation method can effectively suppress interference from on – site electrical noise and protect the internal circuits of the module and the controller.
- Input Capacity: It can connect to multiple on – site digital signal sources, and cooperate with the Triconex system to support the expansion of the overall I/O capacity. The system can be configured with up to 118 I/O modules including this module to meet the signal collection needs of large – scale industrial sites.

- Operating Temperature: It can operate stably in the temperature range of -40°C to 70°C, which can adapt to extreme temperature environments such as cold outdoor industrial areas and high – temperature chemical workshops.
- Humidity Adaptability: The allowable relative humidity range during operation is 5% to 95% without condensation, which can cope with the humid working conditions of coastal oil and gas platforms and water treatment plants.

- Functional Features
- Triple Redundant Signal Processing: The three internal sub – circuits can asynchronously detect and process the signals of the input terminals. Each sub – circuit is equipped with an 8 – bit microprocessor to communicate with the corresponding main processor. The system conducts voting on the signals processed by the three sub – circuits, which completely avoids the impact of single – circuit faults on signal accuracy and ensures the reliability of input signals.
- Independent Circuit Isolation Protection: The three sub – circuits inside the module are in a fully isolated state. A fault occurring in one sub – circuit will not spread to the other two. This design maximizes the fault tolerance of the module and ensures that the module can still maintain normal signal collection functions when a local fault occurs.
- Stuck – On State Detection: It has a dedicated self – testing function for the “ON stuck” state of signals. During the test, it inputs a closing signal to make the photoelectric isolation circuit read a zero input value, so as to detect whether the signal loop is stuck in the ON state. It freezes the last valid data during the test to ensure that the control system can still obtain stable data during the self – test.
- Hot – Swappable Maintenance: It supports hot – swap operation. Maintenance personnel can install or replace the module online without shutting down the entire Triconex control system or disturbing the on – site wiring. This greatly shortens the maintenance time and reduces the impact of maintenance work on industrial production.

- Oil and Gas Production: It is installed in the safety control system of offshore drilling platforms and onshore oil fields. It collects digital signals from sensors such as pressure switches and temperature sensors on the drilling equipment, and transmits them to the Triconex controller to support the emergency shutdown system and fire and gas monitoring system in making timely responses.
- Petrochemical Processing: It is integrated into the control system of petrochemical refining equipment and chemical reactors. It collects digital signals from on – site equipment such as valve position sensors and flow switches, providing accurate input data for the stable operation of the refining process and ensuring the safety of high – temperature and high – pressure reaction links.
