Product Short Description
Product Introduction
The ABB SYN5202-0271 is a high-performance, fifth-generation dual-channel automatic synchronizing unit from the SYNCHROTACT® 5 series. It is engineered to ensure safe, reliable, and fully automatic synchronization between generators and power grids, as well as between two synchronous power lines. This device integrates two independent hardware and software channels in series, where one channel performs automatic synchronization and the other provides independent synchrocheck monitoring, eliminating single points of failure and guaranteeing maximum operational safety. It supports both automatic and manual synchronization modes, stores up to seven parameter sets for different paralleling points, and offers seamless integration with power system control architectures. Designed for critical power applications, it prevents network disturbances, equipment damage, and costly downtime caused by improper paralleling operations.
