Product Short Description
Product Introduction
The ABB CRBX01 is a high-performance, compact fiber-optic remote bus extender/repeater module designed exclusively for the ABB Symphony Plus distributed control system (DCS) and its HN800 remote I/O bus. It extends the reach of the HN800 communication bus over fiber-optic cables, enabling reliable, long-distance data transmission between the main controller and distributed I/O modules in harsh industrial environments. This passive repeater module eliminates electromagnetic interference (EMI) and ensures signal integrity across extended distances, supporting up to 60 HN800 devices (SD Series I/O or communication modules) per remote link. It features a plug-and-play design with no configuration required, simplifying system integration and expansion.
