The GE VMIVME-5576 (now maintained by Abaco Systems) is a VMEbus-compatible reflective memory board that enables deterministic, real-time data sharing among up to 256 independent nodes over a high-speed fiber-optic ring . Each node instantly rewrites its local SRAM and simultaneously broadcasts the update to every other node, eliminating software overhead and I/O bottlenecks.
