Material & Construction
- Glass substrate with patterned amorphous silicon TFT array
- Liquid crystal layer with RGB color filter array
- CCFL backlight assembly with integrated light guide plate
- Anti-glare front surface with hard coat treatment
Operating Principle
- The TFT array controls voltage applied to individual liquid crystal cells on a pixel-by-pixel basis.
- Liquid crystal molecules rotate in response to applied voltage, modulating light transmission from the backlight.
- RGB color filters produce red, green, and blue sub-pixels that combine to create full-color images.
- The LVDS interface receives digital video signals and drives the TFT control circuitry.
Installation Requirements
- Integrate into display enclosure using standard mounting points
- Connect LVDS interface cable to 30-pin connector with correct pin assignment
- Connect backlight inverter power supply per specification
- Ensure proper ventilation to maintain specified operating temperature range
- Handle with ESD protection to prevent damage to display electronics
