Operating Principle

• The precision current source provides regulated, adjustable DC current to drive laser diodes, with superimposed analog modulation capability.
• The TEC controller regulates current through a thermoelectric cooler to maintain precise temperature setpoint via closed-loop feedback from an external temperature sensor.
• The module communicates with the LDC-3900 mainframe for power, control, monitoring, and host interface.

Installation Requirements

• Installs exclusively in LDC-3900 modular controller mainframe rear-loading bays
• Connect laser diode to the 9-pin D-sub connector with appropriate wiring
• Connect temperature sensor and TEC element to the 15-pin D-sub connector
• Configure operating parameters via mainframe front panel or GPIB remote interface
